Get That Blog Going!

Ahh so here we are - finally getting down to the blog!   Last year was all about just getting the site up and running this year I get to fine-tune things a bit not least by setting up direct booking from the site.

The plan is a blog once a month mostly about local events and places to visit.  This one, being the first is a bit different. It turns out that having a blog is a good way to boost visibility on the web... I remain circumspect about this but am willing to give it a go and it does make sense for the website.

Here’s a thing about goal setting!  Watch out what order you put things in!! I’ve been putting off and putting off getting stuck into the website and the direct booking thing for months now because it seems really complicated.  I have finally bitten the bullet and guess what? My website builder seems to be being rather obstructive.

Majorly crest fallen I’m now waiting for an email from an Expert… Forlorn what do I do now? I can’t do all the other stuff in the pipe line without that - hang on a minute “Oh yes I can!”  I don’t really know how it was that I got so blinkered!  So while I wait for direct booking to get sorted here I am beginning the blog, and deciding on my advertising strategy - and whether or not I’m going to have/do one!

All’s well with the world.   Monthly I think for the Blog, may even have an option for a Newsletter - why not? but that would be monthly too.  I can’t yet bring myself to do the AI thing with writing so people are going to have to read my very own drivel typed by my own fair hands - lol

So, possible future blogs? Guémené Cavalcade, Fête de l’Andouille, The Buddhist Center, The Tour de France, Les Vieilles Charrues, Museums, Bon Repos Son et Lumière, la Vallée des Saints. - Blimey that’s not bad 8 just off the top of my head.  Having realised that I’m not really an authority on any of these subjects I’ve decided to interview people who are - not famous ones of course just friends who I think know more about it than me but we’ll have to see how it goes.

Oh that’s right, I’ve got to investigate panoramic photos and videos of the gîtes - lol almost forgot what the main purpose of the website is!
